Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the results for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 Examination 2025. Candidates who appeared for the preliminary exam in September–October 2025 can now check their qualifying status.

The result was announced on December 18, 2025, along with the category-wise cut-off marks. A total of 1,39,395 candidates have been shortlisted to appear for the Tier 2 (Mains) examination.

How to Check SSC CGL Result 2025

Follow these steps to check if you have qualified for Tier 2:

  1. Visit the Official Portal: Go to the “Results” section at ssc.gov.in.
  2. Select CGL: Click on the CGL tab in the orange menu bar.
  3. Download PDF: Click on the link “Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-1), 2025 – List of candidates shortlisted for Tier-2”.
    • Select List 3 for general posts.
  4. Search: Open the PDF and press Ctrl+F. Enter your Roll Number or Name.
  5. Save: If your name/roll number is highlighted, you are qualified. Save the PDF for future reference.

What Next? (Tier 2 Preparation)

  • Exam Date: The Tier 2 (Mains) exam is expected to be held in January/February 2026.
