2. What’s New in 2026?
- Reduced Domain Subjects: Reports indicate a reduction in the number of domain subjects (from 27 to approx. 23). Subjects like Entrepreneurship and Performing Arts may have been moved or merged. Action: Please check the official “Information Bulletin 2026” PDF on the website for the exact subject list before selecting your papers.
- Subject Selection: Candidates can choose a maximum of 6 subjects (typically 4 Domain + 1 Language + 1 General Test, or 3 Domain + 2 Languages + 1 General Test). Check the specific requirements of your target university (e.g., DU, BHU, JNU).
3. Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Class 12th passed or appearing in 2026.
- Age Limit: NTA has no age limit for CUET UG. However, you must fulfill the age criteria (if any) of the specific university you are applying to.
4. How to Apply Online
- Visit Official Website: Go to exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/ or cuet.nta.nic.in.
- Register: Click on “New Registration” and download the Information Bulletin.
- Fill Form: Enter personal details, Class 10/12 marks, and select your Exam Center City.
- Select University & Subjects: Select the Universities you wish to apply for and the specific subjects required for those courses.
- Tip: Select “All” or as many universities as possible to maximize your chances.
- Upload Docs: Scanned Photo, Signature, and Category Certificate (if applicable).
- Pay Fee: Pay via Net Banking/UPI/Credit Card.
