1. Physics (25 Marks)
- Units and Measurements: SI units, dimensions, errors in measurement, precision, and accuracy.
- Mechanics: Motion in a straight line, Newton’s laws of motion, work, energy and power, rotational motion, gravitation, properties of solids and liquids (elasticity, viscosity, surface tension).
- Heat and Thermodynamics: Thermal properties of matter, laws of thermodynamics, kinetic theory of gases.
- Waves and Oscillations: Simple harmonic motion, wave motion, sound waves, Doppler effect.
- Optics: Reflection, refraction, lenses, mirrors, wave optics (interference, diffraction, polarization).
- Electricity and Magnetism: Electrostatics, current electricity, magnetic effects of current, magnetism, electromagnetic induction, AC circuits.
