G.P. Birla Foundation provides scholarships to the West Bengal College Students. The students who are recently passed Higher Secondary 2020 examination with 80% marks can apply for this GP Birla Scholarship 2020 by sending an Application Form. Every Year this Foundation provide 100 scholarships to the students.

GP Birla Scholarship 2020 – Full Notifications

Total 100 scholarships will be awarded to the students and the Scholarship amount is Rs. 50,000 per student per year. GB Birla Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

GP Birla Foundation mentioned all the eligibility guidelines on its official website for GP Birla Scholarship 2020. After passing the Higher Secondary Examination, students can apply for G.P. Birla Foundation Scholarship. Here are the required eligibility criteria for GP Birla Scholarship.

Educational Qualification

Students, who passed Higher Secondary 2020 examination from WBCHSE Council with at least 80% marks, are eligible for this scholarship.

If students passed Higher Secondary Exam 2020 from any Central Board, then at least 85% marks will require to apply for GP Birla scholarship.

Annual Family Income

The annual family income of the applicant is less than Rs. 3,00,000/- per year and as such are in need of financial help to pursue further studies.

For students who have secured 95% or more from State Board or 97% or more from Central Boards, maximum family income criteria may be relaxed in the specific cases at the discretion of the Trustees.

Current Course Admission

This scholarship is provided to the students, who are taking admission on this following courses, Science, Humanities, Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, Commerce, Law, Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretaryship and Cost Accountancy Course if being pursued along with Under Graduation Course, in any recognized University/Institution in India.

Resident

The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal to apply for GP Birla Scholarship 2020.

GP Birla Scholarship Application Process

The application process for GP Birla Scholarship 2020 is OFFLINE. Candidates can download the Scholarship Application Form (link given below) from the G.P. Birla Foundation Official Website and after filling it, send it to the Foundation’s address on or before 15th July 2020.

Fill the Application Form correctly and then attach the following documents with it.

A completed copy of the application form attested by the Head of the Institution from which the Student has passed Class XII or where he has taken admission.
Proof of admission (if admission has been taken) at a university or college in which the applicant shall pursue higher studies.
Copy of academic certificates and grade reports for the last examination.
Copy of other certificates for extracurricular achievements
Income Certificate / Form-16 / ITR File / Salary Certificate of Guardian.

Eligible students can apply for this scholarship by sending the application form with all the documents. The last date for submitting the GP Birla Scholarship 2020 is September 2020.

Scholarship Amount

The Total number of scholarships is 100. The selected candidates are awarded a maximum of Rs. 50,000 per year for tuition fees and hostel fees. Students also get a one-time amount of Rs. 7000/- for book grant.

GP Birla scholarship will continue until the current course not complete. For that, the renewal of this scholarship is needed. After judging the previous year marks, the scholarship amount will distribute.

Selection Procedure

Students will be selected for GP Birla Educational Scholarship 2020 on the basis of Merit and financial condition. After selecting the candidate by reviewing the application forms, they will be called for an interview. Candidates will be selected by the experts of GP Birla Foundation Trust.
