CPCB Eligibility Criteria

Name of the Post	Qualification
Scientist B	Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized University or Institution in Civil/Chemical/Environmental– 10 posts, Mechanical 01post and Mining – 01 post. Preferential: Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering / Technology Essential: Master’s Degree in Natural/Agricultural Sciences from a recognized University or Institution – 01 post Preferential: NET Qualified / Ph.D.
Junior Scientific Assistant	Essential: A degree in science with 4 years of experience in the line, preferably in pollution control or related subjects. Desirable: Master’s degree in science.
Senior Technician	Essential: Diploma in Instrumentation (04 posts) / Diploma in Electronic (01 post)/ Diploma in Mechanical (01 post) Desirable: one-year experience in the relevant field.
Data Entry Operator (Grade II)	(a) 12th standard pass or equivalent, from a recognized Board / University (b) should possess a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour for Data Entry work.
Junior Technician	(a) 10thclass pass from a recognized Board/ Institution (b) Certificate from ITI in Mechanical trade (c) 3 years of experience in servicing laboratory machines in an organization / institution of repute.
Junior Laboratory Assistant	12th class pass with Science subjects from a recognized Board / University. Desirable: Degree in Science from the recognized University / Institution.
Lower Division Clerk (LDC)	(a) Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University (b) Typing speed of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi.
Attendant (MTS)	Essential: 8th Standard Pass from a recognized school. Desirable: (i) 10th class pass from a recognized school/ Board. (ii) Training in Basic and Refresher course in Home Guards and Civil Defense.
