Vacancy Details (Force-Wise)

This year, CISF has the highest number of vacancies, making it a golden opportunity for aspirants preferring industrial security roles.

Important Post Preference Codes (Crucial Step)

When filling out the form, you will be asked to enter “Preference of Posts” using specific codes. Be very careful here; once submitted, this order cannot be changed.

• A — Border Security Force (BSF)
• B — Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
• C — Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)
• D — Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)
• E — Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP)
• F — Assam Rifles (AR)
• H — Secretariat Security Force (SSF)
• (Note: Check the specific notification for the NCB code, usually G, if applicable).

Suggestion: If you want a desk/city-based job, prefer SSF (H) or CISF (B) first. If you want combat/border duties, choose BSF (A) or CRPF (C).

Step-by-Step Application Process

Step 1: One-Time Registration (OTR)

(Skip if you are already registered on the new ssc.gov.in portal)

1. Go to [suspicious link removed].
2. Click on “Login or Register” > “Register Now”.
3. Enter your Aadhaar Number (or other ID), Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, and Date of Birth exactly as per your 10th Class Certificate.
4. Verify your Mobile Number and Email via OTP.
5. You will receive a Registration Number and Password.

Step 2: Fill the Online Application

1. Login using your Registration Number and Password.
2. Under “Live Examinations”, find “Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs)… Examination, 2025”.
3. Click “Apply”.
4. Educational Qualification: Enter your 10th Class Roll Number, Percentage/CGPA, and Passing Year.
5. Preferences:
   • Exam Centers: Choose 3 cities nearest to you.
   • State of Domicile: Select carefully (Cut-offs are state-wise).
   • Post Preference: Enter the codes (e.g., B A C D E F H) in your desired order.

Step 3: Upload Live Photo & Signature

• Live Photo: The new SSC portal captures a photo using your webcam/mobile camera.
  • Find a plain wall (light background).
  • Ensure good lighting on your face.
  • Look straight into the camera (No glasses/caps).
• Signature: Upload a scanned image of your signature (JPEG, 10–20 KB).

Step 4: Fee Payment

• Fee Amount: ₹100.
• Exempted Categories: Women (All categories), SC, ST, and Ex-Servicemen.
• Mode: BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or Visa/Mastercard/Rupay Credit or Debit cards.

Step 5: Final Submit

• Preview the entire form. Check your Name, DOB, and Post Preferences again.
• Click “Final Submit”.
• Print the application form (or save as PDF) for future reference.
